Impatiently, Anxiously, Infuriatingly, Driving Me Crazy . . . Waiting

I'm so anxious to find out if I'm having a boy or a girl, I can hardly stand it. I keep telling Todd we need to go to one of those fetal studios at the mall, but he just nods and smiles. I guess I'll have to wait until January, but that just seems so far away. It could be due to the fact that it will officially be 2009. Yikes! . . . . . . Ah . . . . . . Well, what's a girl to do? Just accept the inevitable . . . or fight with all she's got? . . . .Hmmm . . . . I guess only time will tell. (You'll know who's won if you see some ultrasound pics before 2009:)

Kyson, Kyson, Kyson! :)

So a few weeks ago I learned a valuable lesson; if your kids are too quiet, they're either getting into trouble, about to get into trouble, or thinking about getting into trouble. Braxton was eating an oreo, and Kyson was playing with some toys. I thought, this might be the time to get caught up on some of the housework, since the kids seemed to be having fun. So I walked into the kitchen and began doing the dishes. I glanced at Braxton as he walked passed me and into his room. I continued my chore and was so pleasantly surprised that Kyson had kept himself entertained for such a long time. I finished the dishes then walked into the living room to see what Kyson was up to. The sight that met me took my breath away. Kyson was covered in oreo. It was all over his face, hands, and body, and he didn't stop there. He persisted to rub the oreos into the carpet as well. I stepped back and took a deep breath, and then I grabbed the camera. It was amazing to me, but as soon as I started taking pictures, my anger melted away. I found myself laughing, and I knew this was one of those moments I would never forget. Does he look guilty or what

Trick or Treat

Braxton and his cousin Taya
We had so much fun trick or treating with Grandma

Braxton loved going up to the doors and saying "Trick or treat!!!" But his favorite part was picking out the candy and placing it lovingly into his mouth. Yes, you read that right. Only a few pieces actually made it into his bucket:)

Kyson made a very cute snow monkey, don't you think?

Braxton painted his own pumpkin this year and he took the responsibility very seriously, as you can tell by the look of utter concentration on his face :)
