Anger Management

Someone please help! My 18 month old needs to go to anger management real bad. I'm not even kidding you. That kid has got a temper. Todd called me at work today and said that Kyson just passed out. He told me he heard Kyson scream and then SILENCE. He ran into the boys' room and saw Kyson with his head resting on the toy chest. Kyson looked up at Todd, and he was crying so hard, he wasn't even making any sound. His lips and face began to change color, then all of a sudden Kyson fell back. Todd caught him before he hit the ground but when he picked him up, Ky went limp. A few seconds later, Kyson came back to consciousness, but he looked at Todd like he didn't even know who he was. It took him 5 minutes of laying with his daddy on the couch before he began to be his normal self again. Now I've heard about kids doing things like this but both Todd and I are totally freaked out. If anyone has any advice, please comment. Thanks!

Ahh scary! Sorry, I don't know anything about kids.

I think Bailey did this a few times. It happens when they're crying so hard not enough oxygen gets to the brain. The body defends itself by shutting down. I wouldn't worry too much though. Just explain to him that when he crys he needs to take deep breaths between each wail. I'm sure he'll understand.

Obviously I'm kidding. I'd call Amber and hear her thoughts.

Ha ha ha. Thanks for the advice. I called the doctor because he did it again in the BATH TUB!!! (Thank heavens I was there to catch him.)The doc said it is relatively normal and there's not much you can do about it, other than to just watch him and keep him safe.

oh scary... I am glad Tay isnt the only one that does this :) haha.. This sound bad, but whenever Tayla starts getting really mad and I can tell she is about to pass out, I just pick her up and kinda shake her and say .. Tay you HAVE To breat... She will then take a breath, It helps lots for us anyways!! Good Luck Whit
